CMN AFRICA REPORT FROM MISSION WORK IN SENEGAL AND GUINEA-BISSAU (APRIL 18 – MAY 14, 2026)

INTRODUCTION

God has been gracious in blessing the work in all the areas we are involved. During the work in Bula, Guinea-Bissau, I travelled to Bissau and checked on the schools based on what we tasked Brother Thompson to do at our last meeting. This report comprises of the meeting outcome and a summary of the mission.

RECENT MISSION TRIPS

By God's grace, the Chairman and I had a successful mission trip to Equatorial Guinea from February 21 to March 11, 2026. We worked both in Malabo, the capital, and did Tract Distribution and Prayer at Luba, Batoipoko, and Riaba. We also joined Brother Eric Lawerh, the missionary there, and intensified House-to-House Evangelism with him. There were 11 people who put on Christ in baptism during our work there. Brother Daniel Boateng, son of the Chair, and his wife joined us there and we travelled to Bata together with them to sow more seed in expanding the kingdom. BAPTISMS IN BATA AFTER CHURCH SERVICE ON SUNDAY TRACT DISTRIBUTION AT LUBA, NEAR MALABO I have embarked on another mission trip to Senegal and Guinea-Bissau, from April 18 to May 14, 2026. After preaching at the Dakar congregation on April 19, I travelled together with Brother Arnold Dzah, the missionary to Senegal, with a few others to Sedhiou. Brothers Anum Thompson and Abdou Sidibeh joined us at Sedhiou to strengthen the brethren and sowed the seed of the gospel in new communities around Sedhiou. God added three souls to His kingdom with the one-week work at Sedhiou. CAMPAIGNS IN COMMUNITIES NEAR SEDHIOU BAPTISMS AT THE SEDHIOU AREA We crossed the border to Guinea-Bissau, where we spent two weeks working at Bula in the Cacheu Region of Guinea Bissau. There were two congregations in Bissau, the capital, and another one at Palor De N'Tuss in the Biombo Regions before this trip. By God's grace, He expanded His kingdom with nine (9) new souls to start a new congregation at Bula, the fourth congregation in the entire country. We need prayers and more funds to support this new congregation with a meeting place. We have rented a classroom at the moment as the meeting place. However, there is the need to rent a house to use as an auditorium and a lodging place for the brethren who would travel to Bula from Bissau every weekend to nurture the new believers and continue preaching in the community to win more souls for the Lord. THE CHURCH SCHOOL IN BISSAU

By God's grace the church has two schools in Bissau, one at Pabijer and the other at Tekir. This is a society of plenty children and the idea of the school is to foster Child Evangelism - “Catch them young!” THE SCHOOL AT PABIJA WITH SOME OF THE CHILDREN AND TEACHERS THE CHURCH BUILDING AT ANTULA PABIJA IN BISSAU THE NEW CHURCH BUILDING AT ANTULA TEKIR, WHICH IS ALSO BEING USED AS A SCHOOL THE NEW CHURCH BUILDING AT ANTULA TEKIR, WHICH IS ALSO BEING USED AS A SCHOOL

FIFTH CONGREGATION PLANTED AT BIJIMITA IN GUINEA-BISSAU

The Chair, Brother Douglas Boateng went to Guinea-Bissau to follow up on the report of Charles. By God's grace, this resulted in the planting of a new congregation at Bijimita in the Biombo District of Guinea-Bissau. This started as a result of a man who picked a Gospel Tract on the floor and called Abdou Sidibeh whose contact happened to be on the tract. The Chair led the team there for a further Bible discussion and this resulted in the baptism of 6 family members to start the new church.
